Baby Kendall

Our good friends Jake and Erin just welcomed their second baby girl two weeks ago on February 1st (can't believe it has been that long already!).  We went to visit Baby Kendall last Wednesday and this Wednesday.  I was very anxious to see how the kids did with her, mainly their interest level in having a baby around.  I wasn't surprised by Hannah - she wanted to hold her, touch her, pat her back, pick her up out of my arms, kiss her, be in her face, touch her little toes and fingers and say 'mommy look at her little toes!'.  She is such a little mama.  But Henry kind of surprised me as he was very interested as well.  He wanted to hold her too, not as much as Hannah did, but he at least showed some interest in her instead of going right for the toys.  Andy got some pictures of the kids holding Baby Kendall - you can see the excitement in their faces when holding the perfect, precious little baby girl!

Doesn't this picture show you how big Hannah has grown up!  Crazy to think she was once that size not too long ago.

I am anxious to see if the kids are just as excited once their baby brother or sister comes home, and STAYS home - we will see in just 5 short months!!

Announcing Baby #3

Trying to come up with creative ways for announcing Baby #3 is not easy.  Even Pinterest had very few ideas out there!!  So when I came across the idea of each kid holding up their birth order number, I really liked it, it was cute, and it got the point across very clearly.  I bought some chalk board paint from Michael's and painted some wood scraps my dad had - which ended up working out great.  Then at Christmas, when we had a lot of helpers around, we had our photo shoot. 

And here was what we sent out as our New Years Cards. 

Andy decided that he needed to be making a funny face to try and capture his true feelings on a third baby on the way, which everyone loved and commented on once they received their card.   

We are all so excited for this baby to get here!!  And I think I am now officially back to normal energy levels.  Last night Andy told me it was nice to finally have his wife back (after 8 weeks of no energy and being in bed by 8:30pm).  Love 2nd trimesters!!
